Located in Capri Village on just about the highest point of the mountain overlooking the gorgeous Noordhoek Valley, we are delighted to offer our two bedroom self-catering holiday apartment. The apartment has its own front entrance and off-road parking. It is a first-floor appartment and provides spectacular views across the valley to Chapmans Peak Mountain, Noordhoek Beach and the Ocean and the Table Mountain National Park. It is brightly decorated, airy, very comfortably furnished and fully equipped to provide an ideal base from which to enjoy all the attractions in and around Cape Town The apartment comprises a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, one bathroom (large shower), a family lounge (full DSTV and dvd), a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. Berg and Beach

Berg and Beach is large home on the Fish Hoek mountainside offering premium self-catering accommodation for up to 10 people. As our guests you can expect a warm welcome, lots of local knowledge and luxury for less! There are two 2nd floor suites, Silvermine and Shelly Point. These suites can be made up with a king size bed or two single beds. Shelly Point also has a futon that is suitable for a child up to the age of 12. The suites have been redecorated recently and have ensuite bathrooms with showers. Each has a kitchenette with oven, stove, toaster, kettle and microwave. Cutlery and crockery for four is supplied, as well as pots, pans and many other kitchen implements. Free coffee, tea and milk is provided upon arrival. Both suites have LED TVs with access to DSTV's Family Bouquet. Free WIFI is provided, subject to reasonable use. Both of the suites enjoy excellent views of False Bay, Fish Hoek Valley and the surrounding mountains. Guests staying in Shelly Point or Silvermine have large private patios with built-in braais. Both suites have dining room tables with four chairs. Parking is on-street and our neighbourhood is one of the safest in the country! There is also a penthouse apartment, occupying the 3rd and 4th floors, called Good Hope. Guests staying at Good Hope have access to a 1st floor double garage with automated doors. The apartment has two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the second with a king size bed that can also be made up as two singles. The bedrooms are located on the 4th floor and both have access to a deck with panoramic views of False Bay, Fish Hoek Valley and the Atlantic! There is a large open plan area on the 3rd floor that incorporates a kitchen, sitting area, large patio and dining room. The views from the 3rd floor are also magnificent and have to be seen to be believed. The kitchen has a built-in hob and oven, a microwave, toaster, kettle and steamer. There is crockery and cutlery for eight people and many pots, pans and kitchen implements. Free coffee, tea and milk is provided upon arrival. The apartment has a 49 inch LED TV with access to DSTV's Family Bouquet. Free wifi is provided, subject to reasonable use. Makapa Lodge

Nestled against the mountainside and bordering a nature reserve, Makapa Lodge is situated in Capri Village, with glorious panoramic views over the Noordhoek amphitheatre, the Atlantic Ocean and Chapman's Peak mountain. A Place In Thyme

Situated on the mountainside in Fish Hoek, this establishment offers self-catering accommodation in three different units: A Place in Thyme cottage (sleeps 5); Big Thyme (sleeps 4) and Small Thyme (sleeps 2). There is a funicular (lift) to a carry guests to all the units. A Place in Thyme cottage (Freestanding) Comprises two comfortable bedrooms (sleeping five in two queen-size beds and a single). All bedding and towels are supplied. There are two bathrooms: one with shower, the other with bath. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer and leads outside to a paved area with wash line and portable barbecue (braai). The lounge is equipped with satellite TV and DVD player. Free wi-fi. Double doors lead from the dining room onto a patio, which overlooks a deck and swimming pool. The swimming pool is for the exclusive use of guests in the cottage. 6 The Village

The stunning garden apartment has sea views and a large terrace with barbeque facilities and outdoor seating. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms with a main-en-suite. Main bedroom has a queen size bed and second bedroom has two single beds. The kitchen, dining and lounge area is open plan. A fully equipped kitchen is available with stove, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. The dining table seats six with ease or eight with extra chairs. The lounge has two couches and a flat screen TV with all premium DSTV channels. Two children can be accommodated in the lounge. The apartment is approx. 90m2 and has 24 hour security. There is a heated indoor pool in the building as well as laundry facilities. The location is very central in the Hout Bay popular beach area and within walking distance to many restaurants, pubs, supermarkets. Nearby attractions include Hout Bay beach, Hout Bay harbour, Chapmans Peak Drive, etc. A bit further away are Table Mountain, VA waterfront, Several wine estates (9km), Cape Point Nature Reserve (50km) FREE wifi is available. Abalone 2 is a beachfront garden apartment with sea and mountain views,Hout Bay, Cape Town. The bay is spectacularly beautiful, with a long, clean beach perfectly suited for sunbathing, water sports, walking, cycling, kayaking and more. The garden apartment features an entrance off the interior atrium, into the fully-equipped kitchen and entrance hall. This leads on to the open-plan dining area and lounge. A sliding glass door opens onto the double patio in the front, which has a fringe-garden overlooking the walkway. The patio offers sea and mountain views and is a great place to relax. The house is just a short stroll away from the working harbor where one can buy fresh fish straight from the sea, an array of quaint shops, superb sea food restaurants, coffee shops, gallery's and 3 of the best tidal pools in Cape Town plus a delightful park and playground just around the corner for the kids. The coastal train ride running between Simons Town and Cape Town is also only a minutes' walk from the house for those that don't feel like driving. Stonehurst at St. James

Situated on the warm Indian Ocean side of Cape Town, Stonehurst has been in Judy's family for 50 years. The house, built in 1928, has original sash windows with wooden shutters and beautiful Oregon pine floors. Stonehurst is beautifully decorated, with an eclectic mix of old and new. Judy and Peter have traveled extensively and this is evident from some of the interesting items from the Middle East. Stonehurst is nestled into the base of the mountain, a 1-minute walk from sea, with wonderful views and peace and tranquility away from the noise of traffic and trains. During the whale season, you can see and hear the whales from the house, often breaching in the late afternoon sunlight. Take a stroll down to the famous Rhodes Cottage Museum is typical of the historical importance of the St James area. A short walk in the other direction takes you past Danger Beach to Kalk Bay with its art galleries, unusual decorating and fashion shops, and a wide selection of excellent restaurants. Kalk Bay has the picture perfect harbour where you can watch the traditional fishing boats unloading their catch of the day. For those more energetic there are a number of walks up the mountain that start close the Stonehurst. Accomodation A large lounge, with couches in the windows for whale watching and quiet reading. There is a wood-burning stove, wood supplied, for the cool winter evenings. The rear of the lounge has a TV, with DStv and video/DVD player. There are DVD's and videos in the house, as well as an ample selection of books, board games and cards. A separate 8-seater dining room, with wonderful views over the sea, to enjoy with your croissants bought from the local bakery! The kitchen is well appointed, with dishwasher and all the usual mod-cons and has a couch for long chats while you cook risotto or bake muffins, using the cookery books in the kitchen. There is a large courtyard outside the kitchen, with a barbecue and a table that seats 10. There is a 2 man and a 1 man kayak, with paddles supplied, if you are brave (or foolish) enough to want to paddle in the ocean. Stonehurst can sleep 8 people comfortably. The bedrooms are over 2 levels with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs, and a large suite with dressing room and bathroom downstairs. Upstairs accommodation comprises of a large double bedroom and 2 bedrooms with twin beds and 2 bathrooms. Bedroom 1: The large main bedroom elegantly appointed with a 4-poster queen bed, bedecked with flowers and fairy-lights, and a stunning view of the entire False Bay. The fireplace is surrounded by hand-painted flower tiles, and the soft white curtains move gently in the breeze. Crisp white embroidered linen bedecks the bed. Bedroom 2 and 3: 2 single beds in each bedroom with crisp white linen and throws for afternoon siestas. Bedroom 4 - The master bedroom is situated downstairs: an exceptionally large en-suite bedroom, with a 4-poster queen bed, and decorated with luxurious finishes with a silk canopy over the bed, and a beautiful art-deco lounge suite make this room wonderfully romantic. The Gables

The Gables is a luxury self-catering villa with solar heated pool and Jacuzzi (both safety netted), Hout Bay, walking distance to the beach, and shops and restaurants. The villa sleeps 11 to 13 people. Five spacious bedrooms, four bathrooms, two lounges with French doors leading onto the garden with sparkling solar heated pool and Jacuzzi, two fully equipped kitchens. The house is ideal for one large - or even two families. Outside entertainment area with lounge set, dining table and build in BBQ. It consists of a main house (sleeps 6) and a cottage (sleeps 5/7). Sleeps 11 in total and there is even a sleeping couch to facilitate in total 13. The cottage and main house have an in-between door with a smooth flow as if they were one unit, yet both completely self-contained with the possibility of using separate entrances. Bluebottle Guesthouse

Bluebottle Guesthouse is nestled on the slopes of the Muizenberg Mountain. The guesthouse offers a breath-taking panoramic view of False bay from Cape Hangklip on the one end of the bay to Cape Point on the other. All of our suites are light & spacious and have stunning sea, lake and mountain views. The suites have glass sliding doors or french doors which open out onto a wooden balcony. We have a spacious lounge to relax in; with plenty of books to read and DSTV for your enjoyment. There is a well stocked honesty bar, tea/coffee making facilities & marble-top guest kitchen if you need to store or cook anything. Lovely knotty pine floors run throughout the house, complimented by wonderful antique pieces that grace the hallways and living areas. A landscaped walkway up a stepped slope leads you to our door, a quiet retreat far above the hustle and bustle of life. Due to our unique position it may be difficult for disabled or older guests to access. Muizenberg is a half hour drive from the city centre and twenty minutes from the airport. We can organise transfers, car hire or tours for your convenience. There are wonderful tourist destinations in close proximity; such as the Cape Point Nature Reserve, the penguins at Boulders Beach, the famous Cape winelands, Constantia all being less than a half hour drive from the premises. We also have 3 golf courses within 5 minutes of the guesthouse. There are a large variety of good restaurants and pubs near to us, serving anything from fresh seafood platters to cape Malay curries & a shopping centre and convenience stores all within 5 minutes walk. The miles of white sands and safe blue waters of Muizenberg beach are a 5 minute walk from the guesthouse. There are several mountain walks and hikes that start just above the house. There is a train station less than 2 minutes from the guesthouse with trains leaving regularly toward Simon's Town along the water's edge and through the leafy suburbs to Cape Town.

Lalapanzi

Situated on the mountain side across the road from the water's edge, Lalapanzi offers magnificent panoramic views of the ocean incorporating False Bay and the Hottentot Holland Mountains. This self-catering apartment is suitable for four people. The main bedroom has a sliding door onto a small patio with table and chairs to watch the sunrise. It has a king size bed with luxury linen. There is a second bedroom with 2 single beds which can convert into a king size bed. It has an open plan kitchen into the lounge area. A sliding door off the lounge area opens onto an outside paved patio with table and chairs and an umbrella for outside entertainment and barbeques. There is a family bathroom with basin, toilet and shower only. Spectacular sea views can be seen from every room in the apartment. Lalapanzi is in close walking distance of the popular Fish Hoek beach, catwalk, the central shopping hub, restaurants as well as Glencairn beach. During the months of July-November (peaking September), the Southern Right whales come to Cape Town's coastline to give birth to their young, mate and breed. Lalapanzi is ideally situated to view these gentle giants playing in the bay and we have often seen them as close as 10 metres from the shoreline in front of the property. Oceans Echo is perched high above the ocean so when the whales are making the most of the warmer surface water, you can see them in all their glory: bubble-netting, breaching, lob tailing, spy hopping, blowing, grunting and even mating. Oceans Echo is fortuitously positioned right above one of their favourite spots and offers spectacular whale watching opportunities between August and November. The whales are often visible only meters from the shore, as they travel the coastline between Hermanus and False Bay on their way to The Antarctic.
